Beautiful remake of the Commando Dagger (FSSF) V - 42 CASE, with its long shoulder case made of thick leather.
Steel pointed pommel acting as a glass breaker or puzzle.
This V-42 dagger is a replica of the combat dagger used by US and Canadian special forces during the Second World War. This dagger was specially developed for the First Special Service Forces comando, the first US special unit, consisting of half US soldiers and half Canadian soldiers.
Created in June 1942, this special unit will be distinguished by its commando actions in North Africa, Italy, the South of France ... It will be dissolved in France on December 5, 1944, following the creation of the US Special Forces (Grenn Berets) that it will integrate.
3443 V-42 daggers were delivered to the FSSF during WW2 (World War II). Which makes it today one of the rarest and most sought-after combat daggers. So difficult to find a period! We therefore offer you the opportunity to acquire this reproduction that will allow you to take in hand and expose this piece of our common memory.
