Num'Axes PIE1078 4G Cellular Camera Trap

The PIE1078 is a 4G cellular camera trap designed to provide reliable and connected surveillance in all circumstances.

Precise shooting angle and PIR sensor

With a 53° field of view and a PIR sensor offering a 60° detection angle over approximately 20 meters, the PIE1078 captures all activity within its field of view. Detection sensitivity is adjustable (Low | Medium | High) to adapt to the environment and limit false triggers.

High-performance night vision

Equipped with 6 invisible infrared LEDs with a range of approximately 20 m, the flash activates automatically depending on the ambient light. An adjustable night mode allows you to adjust the exposure time to extend or reduce the range of the infrared flash.

Instant transmission and network flexibility

Photos are sent by MMS or Email , and videos by Email. You can configure up to 4 phone numbers (to receive only photos by MMS) and/or 4 email addresses (to receive photos and videos). The device is controlled remotely via a free Android/iOS compatible mobile application . The choice of operator is free: the PIE1078 automatically detects the SIM card operator and configures the MMS/Email settings. Please note: the NUM'AXES SIM card (NGSIM001) is not compatible, as it does not allow sending MMS.

Advanced Features

In PIR detection mode, the PIE1078 automatically captures photos or videos when motion is detected. Time Lapse mode allows for regular observation without motion detection. The device also offers 2 programmable time slots per day, for 24/7 operation or according to specific time slots.

Marking and storage

Each photo can be tagged with the time, date, temperature, moon phase, camera name, remaining battery life, and GPS coordinates. The memory accepts SD or micro SD cards (with adapter) from 8 GB to 256 GB (class 10 minimum, not included). Loop recording is programmable to overwrite the oldest files when the card is full. The camera name is customizable, as is a password to secure access.

Practical screen and connectivity

A 2.4-inch color LCD screen makes it easy to set up and preview images. A USB Type-C port and included cable make downloading files easy.

Tips for an efficient installation

Place the PIE1078 1.5–2 m above the ground, tilted slightly downward, facing north or south to avoid unwanted sunrise/sunset triggers. Clear any branches or grass in front of the lens and secure the camera to a stable surface. Check the batteries, memory card, date and time before turning on and set the switch to “ON” before leaving the site.
