The 5230 and 5230-B models from the Spanish manufacturer Alcyon offer robust quality, the possibility of space-saving transport and storage as well as effective limitation of movements of the wrists, arms and hands. The stable hinge that allows the fasteners to be folded and therefore accommodated in small pockets is responsible for this range of advantages.
Despite their space-saving design, the handcuffs are stable, withstand stress and strain, and are an overall secure piece of equipment. The high quality material adds to these features.
Made from K-70 steel, Alcyon handcuffs resist the effects of force and even chemical stress as well as manipulation attempts. The proven double locking system - which can be activated with a lock and key - adds security on both sides. Due to the second latch, the handcuff arms cannot be adjusted - neither accidentally nor on purpose - in either direction. Therefore, both tightening and widening are prevented. The risk of injuries, for example bruises or cuts, is significantly reduced.
Alcyon handcuffs are suitable for relatively thin and large wrists. Responsible for the wide range is the inner circumference of 165 to 200 millimeters which can be adjusted as needed.
