Reproduction of English Brown Bess pattern bayonet rifle from 1722 Non contractual photo. Sold without the wall doors.

The "Brown Bess" rifle, officially called the "Short Land Pattern Muskett", was one of the firearms most used by English troops during the 18th and 19th centuries. It was a large-bore, smooth-barreled musket distinguished by its robust construction and the reliability of its ignition mechanism, but also by the short range and low speed of the projectile, in line with similar weapons of the 'time.

It was the basic weapon of the British infantry during the wars of the American colonies of the Revolution and the Napoleonic wars (1799-1815).

Relive the Napoleonic battles of the early 19th century with this reproduction of the DENIX carabiner.
