A BAR MK3 designed for driven hunts
The Browning BAR MK3 Compo HC features a design well-known to big game hunters: a semi-automatic rifle engineered for a natural grip and high responsiveness during driven hunts. This right-handed version is chambered in .300 Win Mag and has a fixed magazine with a total capacity of 3 rounds.
56 cm barrel in .300 Win Mag caliber
The 56 cm barrel features a black bronzed finish and a fluted profile. Its 1:10 twist rate is compatible with the .300 Winchester Magnum caliber, widely used for big game hunting.
With a total length of 111 cm, the configuration remains consistent with use in driven hunts: compact enough to maintain good maneuverability, while benefiting from a barrel of appropriate length for the caliber.
M14x1 thread at the end of the barrel
The barrel features an M14x1 thread . This allows for the mounting of a muzzle accessory with the same thread standard and compatible with the weapon's caliber. When no accessory is installed, the thread remains discreetly integrated at the muzzle.
Open fiber optic sight
To accommodate the rapid fire characteristic of driven hunts , the rifle is fitted with open fiber optic sights. The rear sight features green inserts while the front sight uses a red fiber, creating an immediately identifiable contrast when aiming.
Composite stock and pistol grip
The composite stock gives this version its decidedly functional character. The pistol grip offers a firm hold, while the textured surfaces contribute to the weapon's stability. The stock measures 36 cm.
The BAR MK3 Compo HC also comes with several interchangeable butt plates. These allow you to adapt the stock configuration to the components provided by Browning.
Delivered in a Browning ABS case
The equipment provided is particularly comprehensive. The rifle comes in a rigid Browning ABS case , accompanied by a three-digit combination trigger lock, two sling swivels, an Allen key and a set of interchangeable butt plates.
