"SHARPS PTD", is a name that has had shooters and collectors around the world wondering.
To satisfy the demands of its gun distributors and shooters, for some years the Pedersoli company has started the study of the reproduction of one of the most famous rifles of the “American Civil War”. The range of rifles includes all the most significant versions among the paper cartridge and metal cartridge models. For all models, Pedersoli has used the best materials and the most modern technologies to guarantee a reliable and resistant product. The rifling is obtained by broaching and ensures excellent results in long distance shooting.
All models are set up to receive a diopter and tunnel front sight, with the exception of military models.
Sharps rifles with paper cartridges (1859 & 1863), are distinguished by the “Sporting” model with an octagonal tobacco brown tan barrel, front sight and stecher with two adjustable triggers.
