Falke develops optics for shooters seeking robustness, ergonomics, and optical quality. The Pro Series emphasizes durable construction, precise adjustments, and versatile optical solutions suited to demanding conditions.
The Falke Pro Series 1-8x24 SAS is a 34mm tube LPVO FFP scope offering true 1x to 8x magnification. Its illuminated 22-level SAS reticle and 0.1 MRAD adjustments allow for quick transitions from close-range shooting to more precise medium-range targeting.
With its 1x to 8x magnification range, this optic covers a particularly wide spectrum of applications. The true 1x magnification allows for rapid target acquisition at close range. By progressively rotating the ring up to 8x, the shooter benefits from a magnified image, enabling finer observation and aiming at medium range.
This is the whole point of the LPVO concept: to keep on the same platform a fast optic with low magnification and to have, in a few seconds, a significantly higher level of magnification.
The SAS Sport Aiming Sight reticle is positioned in the first focal plane (FFP) . Therefore, the reticle changes proportionally with the image as the magnification changes. Its graduations thus maintain their angular consistency across the entire magnification range.
Its design combines a highly visible central circle at low magnification with finer reference points that become usable at magnifications up to 8x. This architecture allows for quick reading of the center while providing additional information for corrections.
The settings use a value of 0.1 MRAD per click . The metric system facilitates the correlation between corrections made on the turrets and the indications displayed in the reticle.
The advertised adjustment range for windage and elevation reaches 35 MOA . This range is intended for initial optical adjustment and subsequent corrections based on the configuration used.
The reticle features 22 brightness levels . This wide range allows for fine-tuning the illumination intensity according to ambient light and target contrast.
In practice, the illuminated circle becomes particularly useful at low magnification: the eye immediately identifies the central area of the reticle. Power is supplied by a CR2032 battery , a common and readily available size.
The design is based on a 34mm tube paired with a 24mm objective lens and a 44mm eyepiece. This tube diameter necessitates the use of rings or a one-piece mount specifically designed for a 34mm telescope.
Multi-coated lenses are designed to deliver a bright, high-contrast image, even when conditions become less favorable.
Weighing in at 567g, the scope maintains a particularly robust construction. Falke advertises shock and recoil resistance up to .50 BMG , demonstrating the level of mechanical strength sought for this Pro Series.
The housing is also designed to withstand water and harsh conditions. This results in a versatile shooting optic , suitable for use on platforms regularly in the field and at the shooting range.
Yes. The SAS reticle is positioned in the first focal plane (FFP). Its apparent size changes with magnification so that its graduations maintain their angular consistency.
Each click corresponds to 0.1 MRAD. The reticle also uses MRAD graduations, which makes reading and applying corrections easier.
This scope has a 34mm tube. It therefore requires rings or a one-piece mount compatible with a 34mm scope body.
