These .547 caliber brass cases are ideal for historical reenactments , Sharps shooting sessions , or home reloading . They replicate the dimensions of the original cases used during the American Civil War, with a diameter compatible with traditional .54 Sharps bullets. Their solid brass construction ensures strength, durability, and reliable shooting.
Set of 10 brass cases in the original format for Sharps 1859-1863 rifles in .54 caliber. Faithfully reproduced, they allow traditional reloading with historical type projectiles in .547 and offer perfect compatibility with the original chambers.
These cases are specially machined to be compatible with the chambers of Sharps percussion rifles from the years 1859 to 1863. They allow a realistic shooting experience with .54 type hollow skirt projectiles or historical ogival bullets.
The .547 diameter and internal cylindrical shape are consistent with historical cartridge cases. They are designed to accommodate a black powder charge and a bullet without an integrated primer (primer on the nipple of the lock plate).
Made from thick brass , these cases withstand numerous reloading cycles. Their smooth surface minimizes fouling, and their shape ensures easy extraction after firing. Proper maintenance guarantees multiple uses.
