A completely redesigned cleaning system
The Real Avid Bore-Max® Speed Jag™ uses specially developed Speed Patches to provide more effective cleaning than traditional square patches. Once centered on the jag, the patch conforms perfectly to the rifling of the barrel without creasing or accumulating inside.
Maximum contact with the scratches
Unlike traditional systems using a patch holder or standard jag, the Speed Jag™ design maximizes the contact area between the patch and the inside of the barrel. The result is a more consistent cleaning that generally requires fewer passes.
Less effort, more efficiency
Thanks to their optimized shape, Speed Patches slide smoothly into the barrel while maintaining even pressure on the rifling. This design reduces the effort required for cleaning and improves the removal of powder residue, copper, or lead, depending on the product used.
