Tunet steel shot hunting cartridges for wet areas
DB (Double Base powder): Unlike a “single base” powder based on nitrocellulose, a “double base” powder uses, in addition to nitrocellulose, nitroglycerin.
Generally speaking, double base powders give more power and better temperature coefficients but can lead to faster barrel erosion.
High Performance cartridges can only be fired in proven weapons with steel balls (1370 bars) and bearing the fleur de Lys hallmark. It is recommended not to exceed the 1/2 choke with High Performance cartridges.
