A sound moderator for rimfire rifles
Whether the Stalon RF is used with a slow caliber with little powder, like the .22LR (subsonic), or a fast and hot rimfire magnum caliber, like the .22WMR, the silencer will reduce noise almost identically. This practically means that only one model of silencer is needed for all rimfire rifles and pistols. This is the real advantage of the Stalon RF.
A Rimfire silencer is designed specifically for rimfire cartridges, such as the .17hmr, .22lr, or .22wmr. Rimfire cartridges, or calibers, are loaded with less powder than centerfire cartridges. A Stalon Rimfire silencer is therefore smaller while reducing noise excellently.
Its front-end design, i.e. it only extends forward, with no rear-extending part (as on a telescopic silencer), allows the silencer to be easily installed on any weapon, especially on pistols, where it is not possible to attach a telescopic silencer. The small size and light weight of a Stalon rimfire silencer is a perfect match for any rifle and/or rimfire pistol.
