The 4UANTUM gray pen is an ideal product specially developed for gearbox gears, it uses a heat-resistant formula that maintains optimal adhesion to the gears even well beyond the temperatures that the gearbox can reach. It provides long-lasting protection and lubrication to your gears.

Heat Resistant Gear Lubricant

Continued friction induces excessive heat which will decrease the viscosity of ordinary greases and lubricating oils, causing them to lose their adhesion to the components they are intended to protect.

This is the case with AEG gearboxes where the gears wear against each other at very high speeds.
