This micrometer bullet seating die offers complete control over the bullet seating depth. The laser-etched drum displays a direct reading to the thousandth of an inch , like a precision depth gauge. Once your load is optimized, simply lock in your position, without uncertainty.

“Dead Length” technology: zero variation

The dead- length design allows the base of the tool body to rest directly on the shell holder. This eliminates variations due to press flex or mechanical play, ensuring consistent seating from one cartridge to the next.

Floating ogive guidance for optimal alignment

The bullet and case are held in perfect coaxiality by a floating guide . This system minimizes bullet runout—a critical factor for long-range shooting. Furthermore, the guide is reversible : by inverting the part, seating and crimping can be done in a single operation, a Lee exclusive.

Unmarked seating, regardless of profile

The seating shank is machined and polished to accept a wide variety of bullet profiles (ogival, hollow point, BT, etc.) without causing marking or crushing. The result: cartridges that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and accurate.
