VFC develops its AK GBB range in Taiwan around a realistic construction, internal steel components and a Gas Blowback operation reproducing the characteristic mechanical architecture of the AK platform.
The VFC AK105 GBB combines a stamped steel body, a CNC-machined bolt carrier, and an adjustable-stroke gas blowback mechanism. Switching between a long stroke for realism and a short stroke for increased rate of fire allows you to tailor the performance of this airsoft AK to your desired setup.
The VFC AK105 GBB features a 1:1 scale design, with a stamped steel body and a realistically detailed surface finish. The outer barrel, front sight, gas block, and cleaning rod are also made of steel.
The external components are described as conforming to the specifications of the actual weapons and compatible with parts for authentic AKs. Period-correct manufacturing markings complement this approach, which prioritizes both appearance and construction consistency.
The Gas Blowback system is based on an integrated, CNC-machined steel cylinder head assembly. The mechanics replicate the movement of a long-stroke piston , a characteristic architecture of the AK platform.
The cylinder has a diameter of 22 mm and completes a full bolt cycle. The replica operates on Green Gas and produces the mechanical recoil typical of a GBB system.
The bolt travel is adjustable. With a long travel , the system utilizes the full movement to enhance mechanical simulation. With a short travel , the movement is reduced to increase the rate of fire.
This possibility therefore directly modifies the behavior of the replica without changing its main mechanics: a configuration oriented towards realism on one side, another more dynamic on the other.
The internal firing mechanism, or FCG , is made entirely of steel. It incorporates a braided wire hammer spring and a rate-of-fire reducer, in a functional reproduction of the AK mechanism.
