4UANTUM develops technical components dedicated to optimizing airsoft replicas. The Magnus Pro range is based on one-piece machining, three-lug centering, and TDC adjustment applied to the MCX GBB APFG platform.
A one-piece Hop-Up chamber machined for the MCX GBB APFG, with TDC adjustment accessible without disassembly.
The 4UANTUM Magnus Pro MCX is a hop-up chamber machined from a single piece of 6061 aluminum. Its three-lug self-centering system and TDC adjustment allow for consistent hop-up adjustments, while its corrected geometry directs the chamber's interaction with the bolt carrier rather than the nozzle, minimizing repeated impacts. Stiffer than the stock configuration thanks to its one-piece construction, it also helps secure the barrel on compatible APFG MCX GBB airsoft guns. The adjustment wheel remains accessible through the handguard openings for incremental adjustments without disassembly or tools.

A one-piece chamber machined from 6061 aluminum
The 4UANTUM Magnus Pro MCX is machined from a single block of 6061 aluminum to form a one-piece receiver. This construction is particularly important on APFG MCX GBB replicas: the Hop-Up chamber also plays a role in the barrel retention interface. Its more rigid and precisely machined design thus contributes to reinforcing the structural rigidity of this assembly.
Three-pin centering and TDC adjustment
The chamber incorporates 4UANTUM's three-lug self-centering system and combines it with a true TDC adjustment mechanism. This design applies the Hop-Up adjustment along a vertical axis and aims to improve the consistency of the adjustment as well as the desired consistency in BB trajectory.
A revised geometry to preserve the nozzle
Another change concerns the replica's operation during the cycling process. The geometry of the Hop-Up chamber has been corrected so that the mechanical interaction occurs with the bolt carrier rather than the nozzle. This design aims to prevent damage to the nozzle from repeated impacts during cycling.
Adjustment accessible directly from the handguard
There's no need to disassemble the replica for routine hop-up adjustments. The adjustment wheel is accessible through openings in the handguard. This allows for incremental adjustments directly on the assembled setup, without the need for a dedicated tool.
Dedicated compatibility with the APFG MCX GBB system
Compatibility is intentionally targeted. This chamber is designed for the APFG MCX GBB Rattler, Legacy, SPEAR LT, Rattler LT, RSAR, SURG, and MCX HUNTER. It can also be used with BPW MCX GBBs based on the APFG MCX GBB system.
However, it is not intended for the APFG XM7 SPEAR GBB and APFG MPX GBB , which have a different Hop-Up design. It is also not compatible with MCX GBBs from other airsoft manufacturers, nor with GBB replicas that are not based on the MCX platform.
FAQ
Is the Magnus Pro MCX compatible with the APFG XM7 SPEAR?
No. The APFG XM7 SPEAR GBB uses a different Hop-Up design than the compatible MCX GBBs. Therefore, this chamber cannot be used on this model.
Can this chamber be installed on an MCX GBB from another brand?
No. Compatibility is specific to the APFG MCX GBB system. An MCX GBB from another airsoft manufacturer is not listed as compatible.
Do I need to remove the handguard to adjust the Hop-Up?
No. The dial has been positioned so that it remains accessible through the openings in the handguard. Adjustment can therefore be made gradually without disassembly or special tools.
