The Waldo Dynamics VFC M4/M16 Quick-Change nozzle cap addresses a well-known issue when maintaining certain VFC GBBRs . On the original assembly, the cap holding the nozzle spring uses a small pin that can be tricky to remove and then reinsert.

Waldo Dynamics , with a design developed in collaboration with Ian from Firesupport, replaces this system with a much more accessible solution: an M2 set screw . A 0.9 mm Allen key is then all that is needed to open the assembly and access the spring.

M2 screws for faster spring changes

The benefit becomes clear as soon as a replica is regularly serviced on the workbench. No more need to remove a small pin for each maintenance task: the M2 screw allows for more convenient opening and closing of the cap when servicing the nozzle or changing the spring.

This design is particularly appealing to airsoft technicians and users who regularly adjust their setups. It pairs especially well with Ion Waldo Dynamics nozzle springs , making replacement significantly easier.

Steel construction for repeated disassembly

During replacement, the small O-ring from the original cap must be retrieved and transferred to the new part. Therefore, it is not necessary to replace this O-ring during installation.
