Stilcrin specializes in accessories for cleaning and maintaining firearms . The range includes cleaning rods, tips, brushes, and accessories adapted to different calibers of long guns and handguns.
The Stilcrin Brass Jag US Style is a solid brass cleaning tip designed for the maintenance of rifled barrels. Available in 5 or 6 mm depending on the caliber, its brass construction ensures proper contact with the inside of the barrel during cleaning.
The Stilcrin Brass Jag US Style is a cleaning tip designed to complement a cleaning rod suited to the firearm's caliber. Its solid brass construction provides a softer material than the steel of the barrel, making it particularly suitable for working inside a rifled barrel without using a steel tip that could damage the surfaces.
Two sizes are available. The 5mm model is suitable for .22 LR, .222 Remington, and .223 Remington calibers, as well as airguns using 5.5mm pellets. The 6mm version is designed for .243 caliber .
Choosing the correct diameter allows you to adapt the accessory to the specific barrel. This is an essential point when assembling a cleaning kit for several rifles of different calibers.
Its US-style design uses the same tip format commonly found on compatible cleaning rods. The jag screws directly onto the rod via its thread and then serves as the working end used for cleaning the bore of the barrel.
After a shooting session, proper cleaning helps remove residue from the barrel. Compact and all-metal, this accessory fits easily into a rifle cleaning kit or a gunsmith's workshop equipment.
The 5mm reference is indicated for .22 LR, .222 Remington and .223 Remington calibers. It is also suitable for airguns using 5.5mm pellets.
For the .243 caliber, the 6mm version is indicated.
Brass is used to provide a metal tip that is softer than the steel of the barrel, thus limiting the risk of marking surfaces during proper cleaning.
