A new design for the Amend2 Mod-3 charger

The Amend2 Mod-3 AR-15 magazine uses a nylon reinforced with long fiberglass. This new resin increases the body's rigidity and its resistance to impacts, as well as to high and low temperatures. The 30-round capacity is compatible with 5.56/.223 configurations.

A textured grip without any bothersome excess thickness

The raised exterior surface improves grip when handling the magazine. Its texture is designed to maintain smooth movement during insertion and removal. The muted markings reduce the visual presence of the brand, while the sole retains the number 2, a signature of Amend2.

Anti-tip lift and stainless steel spring

The self-lubricating follower is guided at four points to limit its movement within the magazine body. It operates with a reinforced stainless steel spring, resistant to corrosion and designed without memory effect. These components ensure smooth cartridge feeding during normal use.

Acquisition conditions and regulations

This 30-round magazine is classified as category A1 . For a sport shooter, the acquisition of a category A magazine with a capacity greater than 10 rounds and less than or equal to 30 rounds, usable with a category B centerfire semi-automatic shoulder-fired weapon, is subject to presentation of the authorization for the weapon, the frame, or the lower part of the receiver held. A shooting license alone is not sufficient. Except as permitted by regulations, acquisition and possession are prohibited.

The separate magazine retains its own classification. A firearm with its own classification of B does not automatically become A1 until this magazine is inserted. When a magazine holding more than 10 rounds is inserted into a Category B centerfire semi-automatic shoulder-fired firearm, the entire assembly falls under Category A1.

Carrying a firearm is prohibited except in exceptional circumstances as provided by regulations. Transport requires a legitimate reason and must comply with the conditions of the exemption held; any firearm transported with a magazine must be rendered immediately unusable. Storage must be in a safe, a suitable gun cabinet, or a secure vault.
