Opinel carbon steel

Forged from high-carbon, unalloyed steel, each blade guarantees excellent cutting performance , remarkable wear resistance and easy resharpening . However, be careful of humidity: always wipe the blade after use and regularly apply a protective grease film.

Certified beech wood handles

Sourced from sustainably managed French forests (PEFC certified), the beech used by Opinel is robust, stable, and pleasant to the touch. It is recognizable by its small dark lines and its naturally light color, ranging from yellow to pink. The varnish effectively protects the wood from external aggressions.
